I am honored to be the new Commander of Post 2.  One of the finest and respected Post in the state.  The major committees are in place and all the other committees     will be completed soon.  This year promises to be a good year with a lot of activities.  Some of the activities that we have talked about are:  Bus trips to other Posts and     maybe the Casino’s, Bar entertainment, possible 1st annual fall picnic at our pavilion, Car show in August, and more.  The Entertainment Committee along with the House and Kitchen Committee’s will be busy this year.  The Committees and I will be working together as a team to make this coming year a productive one.   Along with the activities, increase in membership is also a goal for this year.  If you know Veterans who do not belong to the Legion Post2 give them a application and introduce them to our fine Post.   I wish you all a safe, relaxing and enjoyable summer.  If you get a chance stop down, say hi and support YOUR Post.
